Petco Changes Unleashed Merchandising Structure

Petco officials are merging merchandise responsibility of their Unleashed by Petco store locations to staff within the corporate merchandising structure. There are currently more than 120 Unleashed by Petco locations across 12 states, inducing California, Illinois, Georgia and New York.

Unleashed by Petco was launched in 2009, providing consumers with a smaller, more neighborly retail experience. The smaller format, neighborhood store locations offer an environment for enhanced community interactions and provide a platform for Petco’s involvement in local animal-welfare efforts and community events.

Locations are primarily stocked with dog and cat products focusing on natural foods and made in the US brands. Unleashed locations offer services including dog training, vaccination clinics and pet parties, as well as grooming and self-service pet washing at select locations.
