Pet Naturals Introduces Plant-based Impawsibly Good Treats

Pet Naturals has gone meatless to create the first multi-flavor line of plant-based dog treats with Impawsibly Good Treats.

Impawsibly Good Treats is Pet Naturals’ second line of nutritious treats for dogs following the debut of Superfood Treats. Impawsibly Good Treats combine vegetarian protein sources with savory flavors dogs love. The treats feature four meatless protein sources – quinoa, chia, brewer’s yeast and oats – that are good for dogs and the planet.

“We are excited to debut Impawsibly Good Treats with flavors that are familiar to consumers, and their pets, while still providing the health and ecological benefits they are looking for,” said Derek Archambault, Vice President for Marketing at FoodScience Corporation.

A 2017 University of California at Los Angeles study found that if American pets were their own country, their meat consumption would rank fifth in the world. The study also found that pets are responsible for 25 percent to 30 percent of the environmental impact of meat consumption in the United States.

The bite-sized Impawsibly Good Treats are suitable for dogs of all ages and sizes and are available in meat-free chicken, beef, pepperoni and hot dog flavors.

Impawsibly Good Treats join Pet Naturals’ expanding offerings of wholesome treats packed with nutritious ingredients including Superfood Treats and Heartibles Treats.
