Show Changes for HH Backer

H.H. Backer Associates has announced it is making major changes to its annual fall trade show, including renaming the event Backer’s Total Pet Expo and moving the show to September.

“Our goal is to help attendees get a jump on the competition for 2014 and finalize their holiday season buying for this year, which will be easier now that we have September dates,” said show director Colette Fairchild in a press release.

The 2013 Backer’s Total Pet Expo will take place in Rosemont, Ill., from September 20-22. More than 500 exhibitors are expected to attend.

The show previously was known as the Pet Industry Christmas Trade show and was held in October. H.H. Backer’s spring trade show in Atlantic City, N.J., will also fall under the new Total Pet Expo name.
