DAZZ Cleaner Receives Three New Environmentally and Animal Friendly Certifications

DAZZ Cleaner, the tablet-based, non-toxic cleaning systems company focused on effective and environmentally friendly products, has received three new certifications that further exemplify the company’s commitment to sustainability, specifically reducing plastic waste and dedication to a non-animal testing policy. These certifications allow DAZZ to display logos from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Safer Choice Program, Leaping Bunny and the United States Department of Agriculture’s BioPreferred® Program on their product labels.

“We are proud to receive certifications from the EPA’s Safer Choice Program, Leaping Bunny and the USDA’s BioPreferred® Program,” said David Shanan, founder of DAZZ Cleaner. “Being a part of these programs allows us to show our consumers — right there on our product labels — that we are committed to developing solutions to the global plastic waste problem and creating high quality, safe cleaners while following a strict policy of no animal testing.”

These certifications allow DAZZ to label specific products with the organization’s logos, enabling consumers to see that DAZZ puts its money where its mouth is. For example, consumers will now see the USDA’s BioPreferred® Program label on DAZZ surface cleaners (including DAZZ All Purpose Cleaner, DAZZ Window and Glass Cleaner and DAZZ Bathroom Cleaner), which contain 100 percent USDA certified bio-based content.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Safer Choice Program, which seeks to promote the use of products with improved environmental and human health characteristics, has recognized the following products for fully achieving that objective in the consumer sector: DAZZ All Purpose Cleaner, DAZZ Foaming Hand Soap, DAZZ Window and Glass Cleaner and DAZZ Bathroom Cleaner.

DAZZ Cleaner products will also now proudly display the Leaping Bunny logo, assuring consumers the company has made every effort to avoid animal testing for both finished products and their ingredients; and that their products have been made without causing suffering or pain to animals.

For almost a decade, DAZZ has been developing solutions to the global plastic waste problem, and the new packaging is yet another way the company demonstrates its commitment to reduce its carbon footprint, to use as little plastic as possible in its manufacturing and packaging and to fight plastic waste.

With a mission to do the right thing without sacrifice, DAZZ Cleaner was founded on four core principles — performance, safety, sustainability and value. DAZZ provides consumers with high-quality and effective products that are affordable and don’t compromise performance.

The company’s innovative tablet refill system distinguishes itself from traditional use-and-discard cleaners by providing reusable spray bottles that consumers can use again and again. In addition to its reusable bottles, DAZZ now packages its signature tablets in compostable corn-derived PLA film, and its Starter Kits and Refill Kits are packaged in compostable boxes for retail sales.

Free from toxic bleach, ammonia, phosphates and petroleum-based chemicals, DAZZ products are formulated with naturally safe plant- and mineral-based ingredients that are never tested on animals. In addition to being safe for children, pets and the environment, DAZZ products are pH neutral and safe to use on all non-porous household surfaces such as granite, marble and other natural stone surfaces.
