PetSmart to pamper pets with The Groomery

On Oct. 25, PetSmart announced the opening of stores that would focus exclusively on pet grooming services. The pet retail chain announced two stores would open on the Upper West Side in New York, Chicago suburb, Oak Park III and three would open in Scottsdale, Arizona, and two undisclosed locations.

The Groomery will have salon-style spaces ranging from 1,800 to 2,500 sq. ft. and will offer services, such as baths, brushes, haircuts, blow-outs, nail trims and grinds, teeth brushings, paw maintenance, flea & tick treatments, de-shedding Furminator service and ‘Spaw’ treatments.

The company will use products from CHI, Burt’s Bees and Furminator as well as offer a self-service dog wash.
