Darren Fujii joins Tuffy’s Pet Foods as Chief Marketing Officer

On Sept. 17, 2018, Tuffy’s Pet Foods, the makers of NutriSource, Pure Vita and Natural Planet pet foods announced that the company had hired Darren Fujii as its new chief marketing officer.

Fujii has held several leadership positions in his career at ConAgra Foods and Isagenix International. He has also consulted for several companies such as Kellogg’s, McCormick and MGM Studios. In 2017, Fujii began his career in the pet industry as the president of Natural Pet Partners (dba Pet Club), leading a turnaround for a 50-store independent pet retailer with store locations in Arizona and Colorado.

Fujii will lead Tuffy’s targeted efforts to rapidly expand its digital marketing and social media engagement in a cooperative venture with retail partners. Fujii, his wife, Katherine, and their two children will relocate from Phoenix, Arizona to Perham, Minnesota.
