Vets Pets to Expand Fayetteville Critical Care Services
Vets Pets, a North Carolina veterinary hospital network, has purchased land and is planning a new emergency and critical care facility to be built in the entryway of Fayetteville’s Military Business Park along Bragg Boulevard. The facility is expected to open in early 2021.
“We are committed to the Fayetteville community and furthering our investment by expanding operations in the region,” said Steve Thomas, CEO of Vets Pets. “Our new facility will allow us to provide a far superior client and referral experience and will enable us to care for even more animals in 2021.”
Currently, Vets Pets’ manages Animal Urgent Care of Fayetteville located on Sycamore Dairy Road. After acquiring Animal Urgent Care of Fayetteville in 2014, the after-hours emergency veterinary hospital has continued to grow and is ready to move into a larger facility with an advanced veterinary ICU unit, surgical suites and advanced imaging capabilities. The dedicated team, including four doctors and a staff of client service representatives and veterinary technicians, works around the clock including weekends, holidays and during natural disasters like Hurricane Florence.
“We’re excited to have Vets Pets on board,” said James Rose, Vice President of Broadwell Land Company. “They’ll fit in nicely with the blend of industry and support businesses we’re bringing to the park as they serve the needs of our growing community.”
Animal Urgent Care of Fayetteville is one of 24 locations managed by Vets Pets throughout North Carolina. Broadwell Land Company is one of the owners of The Military Business Park, which was formed in February 2010 to develop 230 acres contiguous to Fort Bragg.
