Veterinary Multimedia Platform dvm360 Announces Virtual Conference Nov. 12 – 14

Veterinary industry multimedia platform dvm360 announces its second virtual Fetch dvm360 Conference to be held Nov. 12 through Nov. 14.

“After tremendous success with our first-ever virtual Fetch dvm360 Conference, we are excited to host a second conference packed with the ultimate veterinary continuing education,” said Mike Hennessy Jr., president and CEO of MJH Life Sciences, the parent company of dvm360. “The agenda is full of new topics for both veterinarians and technicians with sessions hosted by some of the most prominent veterinary experts and personalities in the industry.”

Keynote speakers for the conference include:

  • Evan Antin, D.V.M., exotic animal veterinarian at Conejo Valley Veterinary Hospital, host of “Evan Goes Wild” on Animal Planet and owner/founder of Happy Pet.
  • Marty Becker, D.V.M., founder of Fear Free, author of multiple books on The New York Times bestseller list and practicing veterinarian at VCA North Idaho Animal Hospital.
  • Courtney Campbell, D.V.M., DACVS-SA, veterinary surgeon at VetSurg, chief creative officer and host of the veterinary news show “VetCandy Watch” and host of popular podcasts “Anything Pawsible” and “The Dr. Courtney Show.”
  • Temple Grandin, Ph.D, expert designer of humane facilities for livestock; professor of animal sciences at Colorado State University and author of multiple books including The New York Times bestseller “Animals in Translation.”

The Fetch dvm360 Conference will offer a 360-degree educational experience with the clinical, management, technician and wellness continuing education needed to provide the best possible pet care. Attendees will have the opportunity to earn 185 credit hours through programming that not only educates and inspires but also provides solutions to the most pressing problems in practice. Participants can access recorded sessions until Nov. 28 for the added convenience of learning at their own pace.

The conference agenda will support the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), addressing such topics as feline medicine, surgery and behavior. Additional sessions include soft tissue surgery, integrative medicine, orthopedic surgery, neurology and well-being. In addition, the Facebook group, DVMoms — Life in Trenches, will discuss practice ownership, life as a parent and veterinarian during a pandemic and more.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with leading experts in the veterinary industry, mingle with colleagues and exhibitors in the Networking Lounge, and interact with vendors and sponsors. Added bonuses include yoga, meditation boot camps and even a virtual day care for children.

“Veterinary medicine is all about teamwork. Our continuing education at the Fetch dvm360 Conference in November will feature some discussions led by the veterinarian and the technician, together,” said Adam Christman, chief veterinary officer of dvm360. “Also, because our profession has exponentially adapted to changes during this pandemic, we are placing an emphasis on technology — with sessions ranging from virtual care, telemedicine, wearables in pets and artificial intelligence.”
