Alphia Names New Vice President of Food Safety Quality Assurance to Leadership Team

Alphia, the largest pet food co-manufacturer in North America, announces the appointment of Jarrod Kersey as Vice President of Food Safety & Quality Assurance, effective immediately. In his new role, Kersey will prioritize safety and quality product standards and play a critical part in maintaining overall product safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Bringing more than two decades of experience in the pet food industry, Kersey has a well-established wealth of experience in regulatory, food safety and quality assurance. In his new role, Kersey will lead the Food Safety and Quality Assurance efforts at Alphia. He will establish and enforce quality control procedures, ensure regulatory compliance and conduct audits and inspections to ensure any potential risks are addressed and rectified swiftly. He will also lead supplier management and protect the brand’s reputation by assuring products meet customer standards. Leading the development of the Food Safety & Quality Assurance team, Kersey will establish continuous improvement and cross-department collaboration to guarantee that Alphia is constantly exceeding safety guidelines and producing the best products.
