Amazon’s First Pet Day Sales Event
Coinciding with National Pet Month, Amazon is launching its first Amazon Pet Day on May 2. The Pet Day sales event will offer 24-hours of savings to US shoppers from a broad assortment of products not only in pet, but in the home and electronics categories as well. Prime members will have access to special offers to rent or purchase popular pet movies on Prime Video, and Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Card holders will earn 10 percent cash back on pet supplies.
To commemorate Amazon Pet Day, company officials are donating $50,000 to Seattle-based animal shelters, according to news outlets. According to media reports, customers can shop and support pet charities of their choice through AmazonSmile as well.
