American Pet Products Association Launches Business Bootcamp to Help Businesses Succeed in the Pet Industry
American Pet Products Association (APPA) CEO Steve King announced today the Association will be hosting the inaugural APPA Business Bootcamp, a three-day online program set to take place November 10-12, 2020. The series will cover three major areas including business basics, pet-industry specific business acumen and strategies for growth.
“This new Bootcamp is designed to provide valuable resources for companies of all sizes and especially individuals who are new to the Association and the pet industry,” said King. “With the education and information gained from the program, we have no doubt participants will gain valuable insights and a deeper understanding and connection to the pet care community. This is just another way APPA is supporting members with essential tools needed to succeed in this incredible industry.”
The three-day program will include a total of 15 sessions with more than three hours of presentations per day, online panel discussions, live Q & A after every session and a virtual networking event. Once the Bootcamp course work is completed, participants will also gain access to free resources to take a deeper dive into pet business strategies — a $1,000 value. These include a customized data report based on the APPA National Pet Owners Survey, a robust resource list of industry experts, retailers, distributors, rep groups and media contacts plus a complimentary 1-hour post-event consultation with PetsPhD, the firm selected by APPA to co-develop the conference content.
The course is $399 for APPA members and $550 for non-members, and the Association is offering a 25 percent advanced savings registration discount for those who register before Oct. 29. For more details on the APPA Business Bootcamp program and registration, please click here.
