Because, Animals Unveils Cruelty-Free, High Protein Cat Treat

Because, Animals, a startup dedicated to sustainable, cruelty- and slaughter-free pet nutrition, has created a high-protein cat treat without using any animal products – no meat, fat, meal nor byproduct is used in their all-new Freeze-Dried Noochies! Snacks, an all-natural, vitamin-packed treat for both dogs and cats.

The snacks are crafted with Bmmune, the company’s proprietary blend of high protein, B vitamin-rich nutritional yeast. Fermented Koji is also added for gut health benefits.

“It’s the world’s first truly sustainable cat treat,” said Joshua Errett, co-Founder and COO. “For the first time ever, our retail partners can offer their customers a high-protein, super-tasty snack for cats that doesn’t use the resource-intensive and greenhouse gas-emitting factory farming system.”

In addition to the 1-ounce bag for cats, there will be a 3-ounce bag of Freeze-Dried Noochies! Dog Snacks, with all the same immune benefits, bursting with protein and no animal ingredients.

Errett also took this opportunity to announce significant enhancements to the Baked Noochies! cookie line for dogs. Now Baked Noochies! with Peanuts and Baked Noochies! with Pumpkin are packed with extra protein thanks to a generous helping of Bmmune Nutritional Yeast. These gently-baked biscuits also come packaged in pouches made from single-use water bottles.

Freeze-Dried Noochies! Cat Snacks are available for a suggested retail price of $11.99, while Freeze-Dried Noochies! Dog Snacks are available for $13.99. Additionally, Baked Noochies! with Peanuts and Baked Noochies! with Pumpkin are priced at $9.99.

Like all Because, Animals products, these snacks and cookies are prepared with sustainably sourced ingredients and are made in the USA.
