Bill Hoffman Leaves Pet Food Express

After about a year in his role, Bill Hoffman will be leaving his position as Vice President of Vendor Management at Pet Food Express. The company has yet to announce a replacement for Hoffman.

Approximately one year ago, Hoffman announced he was joining the team with at the time, CEO Denyelle Bruno and CMO Andrea Petrone. Both Bruno and Petrone came to Pet Food Express about a year earlier in 2022, shortly after Rainier Partners, a Seattle-based, lower-middle-market private equity firm announced its acquisition of the California pet retail chain.

Pet Food Express was established in the 1980s by Michael Levy and has solidified its position as a leader in the pet industry through its dedication to providing pets premium food treats and supplies. The company has focused on premium food options that at the time of its inception was not a focal point in the pet industry. Pet Food Express has devoted its time to ensuring that pets receive the best food solutions while educating pet owners on the various aspects of giving pets a long and healthy life.

According to Hoffman’s LinkedIn profile, he will be working with his wife, Amy Hoffman, on a new enterprise Black Arrow Jewelry & Art.
