Central Bark Brings Enrichment Dog Daycare to Phoenix Area

Central Bark, a whole dog care franchise and industry pioneer, will open its first Arizona location in the Phoenix area in 2025. The facility, which is located conveniently next to the recently renovated PV complex in Paradise Valley, AZ, will provide a unique blend of whole dog care services driven by industry-leading expertise and the latest in canine behavioral science.

The brand’s premier offering is its enrichment dog daycare service, which invites dogs of all ages and breeds to experience a balanced day of play, rest, enrichment and exercise tailored to their needs. Central Bark also offers dog boarding, training, a full dog marketplace and grooming services from nail clippings to baths and haircuts. Pet parents can count on Central Bark as a partner in their dog’s health and wellbeing with membership or single-day care options.

“This new facility will be a welcome addition to our rapidly growing Central Bark franchise family,” said Bob Crawford, CEO for Central Bark. “We are changing the dog care landscape across the country, one new Central Bark at a time. Our emphasis on the safety of our four-legged customers is evident through our approach to enrichment programming, including Puppy Hours, rest periods and low dog-to-enrichment specialist ratio, are differentiators for a reason and that is resonating with new franchisees and our customers alike. We’re looking forward to introducing the Paradise Valley community to our approach with our newest location.”

Central Bark is expanding into the Phoenix area under the leadership of Daniel Glad. With extensive corporate business experience and a proven track record in sales, Glad takes the helm as franchise owner of Central Bark Paradise Valley, positioning the brand for success in this new market. “I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a member of the Central Bark family,” said Glad. “When looking for an opportunity to graduate out of corporate business development into entrepreneurship, I knew I wanted the backing of an established expert partner like Central Bark to help guide my journey.”

In addition to his business expertise, Glad shares his enthusiasm for Central Bark’s whole dog care philosophy and dedication to delivering exceptional pet care as he prepares to introduce the brand to the Paradise Valley community. “As a dog lover, I know the impact that dogs can have on enriching your life. I’m looking forward to providing the pet parent community of Paradise Valley the top-tier care needed to keep their beloved pets safe, happy and healthy.”

Central Bark’s Paradise Valley location will feature 5,400 square-feet of indoor space plus 1,200 square-feet of outdoor play area. Activities include small flexible playgroups, group skills work, rest periods and personalized one-on-one enrichment sessions. Enrichment add-ons give pups the extra attention they love and the freedom to use their senses, safely exploring with their instincts as they engage with interactive toys, puzzles and games.
