Chuck & Don’s acquires Pet Outfitters
Early in April Chuck & Don’s announced they had joined forces with Pet Outfitters to expand into the Denver market. Pet Outfitters was welcomed into the Chuck & Don’s’ family on March 15, the company revealed. Pet Outfitters was established in 1987 and serves pet owners in Greenwood Village and Cherry Hills.
“When we were looking to sell the business, we wanted to find the best company possible to carry on our values and mission in this neighborhood,” said Libby Miller. “We’re excited to be joining forces with a like-minded company who will continue to serve pets and their owners in Greenwood Village and Cherry Hills,” Miller said. She will play a consulting role to ensure a smooth transition for Pet Outfitters and its customers to the Chuck & Don’s brand.
“We’ve been looking for the right partner to help further expand in the southeast Denver area, and I’m happy to say we’ve found that in Libby and her Pet Outfitters operation,” said Bob Hartzell, CEO and president of Chuck & Don’s. “Pet Outfitters is known for its high-quality pet products and friendly, knowledgeable service, making them a great addition to the Chuck & Don’s’ family,” Hartzell said.
As the newest Chuck & Don’s location, Pet Outfitters will move into an adjacent larger space this spring at 5926 S Holly Street. Chuck & Don’s’ 5,500 sq. ft. location at Greenwood Village will feature the company’s first self-service dog wash in Colorado.
