Cloud Star Donated Food to Dog Rescue

Officials report Cloud Star, a leading producer of high-quality dog treats and food, donated nearly 2,000 pounds of baked kibble to rescue Dogs Playing For Life.

“Most of the dogs that come to us are at risk of euthanasia at their originating shelter due to behavior concerns,” said Emily Grossheider, Chief Innovation Officer for Dogs Playing For Life. “The COVID-19 crisis hasn’t impacted our ability to serve these dogs, but it has held up some of the dogs that are ready to be transported to adoption partners.”

The rescue focuses on ensuring dogs receive ample social interaction and playtime so when the time comes for adopting, they are well behaved, healthy and happy.
