Gott Pet Products’ COO Patrick McGarry Honored by Milwaukee Business Journal
Patrick McGarry, Chief Operating Officer for Gott Pet Products, the family-owned parent company of Charlee Bear dog treats and Hound & Gatos pet food, has been named a winner of the Milwaukee Business Journal’s2023 40 Under 40 Award.
Each year, reporters and editors from the Milwaukee Business Journal select 40 leaders under the age of 40 – from a pool of hundreds of nominations – who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement while also becoming leaders and making a difference in their communities. According to the magazine, this year’s winners represent the future of community leadership in southeastern Wisconsin.

McGarry joined Gott Pet Products in 2017 as General Manager. In 2020, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and became responsible for developing and implementing strategic growth plans, establishing policies that promote company culture and vision and overseeing operations to help ensure the company’s success. In addition to supporting Gott, McGarry remains an integral part of Wixon, the fully integrated meat, food and beverage ingredient leader in which Gott Pet Products is a subsidiary of.
As a proud board member at HAWS, McGarry continues to play an important role in Gott Pet Products’ partnership with the local animal shelter. Most recently, the company supported HAWS as the hosting sponsor and exclusive sponsor at the Animal Welfare Champion level at last year’s Happy Tails benefit.
