IDEXX Laboratories Announces 9 Percent Revenue Grown in First Quarter Results

IDEXX Laboratories, a global leader in veterinary diagnostics, veterinary practice software and water microbiology testing, this week announced first quarter results and business updates related to the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and its impact on market conditions.

The company in April announced its IDEXX SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) RealPCR Test for pets, which are available to veterinarians in response to customer demand and growing evidence that in rare cases pets living with COVID-19 positive humans can be at risk for infection.

Among other highlights, IDEXX reported revenue growth of 9 percent on a reported and organic basis driven by Companion Animal Group (“CAG”) Diagnostics recurring revenue growth of 10 percent reported and organic.
