Independence Pet Holdings Appoints Munir Hafez as Chief Technology Officer

Independence Pet Holdings (IPH) today announced the appointment of Munir Hafez as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With more than 30 years of experience aligning IT with business strategy, Hafez will lead the company’s technology initiatives and drive transformative growth.

Hafez brings a deep background in digital transformation, software engineering, and cloud technologies, with expertise in delivering next-generation applications across ERP, web, and mobile platforms. He has also successfully implemented agile-at-scale methodologies across diverse programs and teams.

Hafez began his career as a software developer at Siemens and has since held senior leadership roles at Harris, PwC, Deloitte, and EY. Most recently, he served as CIO at TransUnion, overseeing digital technology initiatives for consumers and employees across more than 35 countries.
