The accessory saves owners from having to pay for expensive delousing treatments. It also keeps birds from picking out their feathers. The device ensures that the bird remains content and happy, subsequently, making life easier for bird lovers. Additionally, the invention features a non-toxic design.

According to media reports, the original design was submitted to the Atlanta sales office of InventHelp and is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
