Joshua Kanter is PetSmart’s new EVP of Marketing and Customer Experience
On Dec. 1, PetSmart announced the appointment of Joshua Kanter as evp of Marketing and Customer Experience. Kanter will report directly to executive chairman Raymond Svider.
Kanter will oversee PetSmart’s brand marketing, digital, media and creative endeavors for best-in-class, convenient customer experience online and across PetSmart’s 1,600 stores. Kanter previously served at Viking Cruises as senior vice president of Marketing Strategy. Earlier, he was senior vice president of Marketing at Caesars Entertainment and an associate principal at McKinsey & Company. He brings an expertise in data-driven marketing, loyalty strategy, digital advertising and branded customer experience.
“Joshua is a highly experienced executive with a proven track record of building successful consumer-facing brands,” said Svider. “We continue to position the business for success as the leading brick and mortar and online company in pet specialty retail and are confident Joshua is the right leader to support our unique mission and brand,” Svider added.
