Lemos Feed & Pet Supply Donates 4,100 Pounds of Pet Food

Central California-based Lemos Feed & Pet Supply is donating more than 4,100 pounds of pet food to San Luis Obispo County Animal Services.

According to KSBY News, the donation is going toward the county’s homebound food program, serving pet owners over age 65 or are immune-compromised and can’t physically go to a grocery or pet store.

Like many pet retailers, Lemos has adjusted store operations and services during the COVID-19 pandemic, including cancelling vet and dental clinic appointments and promoting its curbside service option.

Owner and founder Mike Lemos has also recorded a message for patrons during this time.
