Morris Packaging Becomes First Pet Sustainability Coalition Northstar Member
The Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) recently announced Morris Packaging as the first company to achieve Northstar level membership, PSC’s top membership tier. This milestone reflects Morris Packaging’s ongoing dedication to responsible sourcing, transparency and environmental stewardship within the pet industry.
As a PSC member since 2019, Morris Packaging chose to elevate their partnership to the Northstar level because of PSC’s proven leadership in advancing sustainability within the pet industry. According to Penny Steinwagner, Director of Sustainability at Morris Packaging, PSC’s collaborative and solutions-driven approach provides valuable, unbiased support to help drive meaningful progress across the industry.
“Morris is most proud of our company-wide dedication and technical expertise to continuously push the envelope and develop eco-friendly structures to serve the changing legislation along with delivering the most sustainable packaging options to meet our customer’s needs,” said Steinwagner.
With a strong focus on technical expertise and innovation, Morris Packaging delivers eco-friendly packaging solutions that meet evolving legislation and customer demands. As a Northstar member, their leadership aligns with PSC’s broader goals of advancing sustainable packaging and driving meaningful environmental and social progress across the supply chain.
“Morris Packaging’s dedication to innovation and circular sustainability sets a powerful example for the pet industry,” said Jim Lamancusa, Executive Director of the Pet Sustainability Coalition. “From integrating recycled content into their packaging to their deep involvement with PSC and our events like Pet Summit Impact Unleashed, they continue to lead the way in driving meaningful progress for the planet, their customers and the entire industry.”
