No More Separation Anxiety for Pets with PEDDY Pet Care Robot

PEDDY, developed by Korea’s Guru IoT, is a pet care robot that combines the Internet-of-Things with machine learning technologies.

PEDDY can help with emotional interaction for pets left home alone while their owners are away by linking through the smartphone, as well as exercises. With a sensor detecting the temperature, humidity and noise, the robot can respond flexibly to sudden temperature change or noise from the dog barking or cat meowing by transmitting a 360-degree image to the owner’s smartphone.

A Guru IoT official said, “With PEDDY, pet owners can talk with their pets on the video screen while they are away from home. As the robot is equipped with the emotional interaction function, it can help pets cope with the Covid-19 depression due to fewer outings.”
