Outward Hound’s New CEO

According to media reports, Michael Black has been promoted to CEO at Outward Hound, a leading pet industry manufacturer with a product portfolio that includes toys, bowls, games, gear and chews to name a few.

Officials mention that in Black’s new role he will oversee the strategic day-to-day operations of the pet brand’s portfolio for future growth. Black is taking over Outward Hound Founder, Kyle Hansen’s, role as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.

“Since Michael’s time as Senior Pet Buyer at Walmart, he has known and worked with our Senior Management Team,” said Hansen, according to reports. “Michael has a deep understanding of the pet retail marketplace, and brings a strategic, collaborative, process-driven approach that will help us better serve our customers in the coming years.”
