Patrick McGarry is new General Manager at Charlee Bear Pet Products  

Wisconsin-based Charlee Bear Pet Products announced on Sept. 11, 2018 that Patrick McGarry will step into the role of General Manager. McGarry has previously held financially-focused positions at Google and Ernst & Young.

Charlee Bear recently acquired Hound & Gatos, that make a nationally distributed collection of premium canned diets for dogs and cats. In addition to overseeing the growth of both brands, McGarry will continue to serve as CFO of parent company Wixon, a food ingredient provider.

McGarry said, “This is just the beginning of the strategic support we’ll be putting behind these brands to enter new food and treat categories and to boost retailer and distributor growth.” He added, “We will not sacrifice the quality, taste and nutritional value of these two trusted brands.”

McGarry also wanted retail partners to know that Hound & Gatos will continue to be stocked and sold exclusively by independent stores.
