PetHub Announces New CEO
PetHub, Inc. has announced that Lorien Clemens, co-founder and former COO, has been selected as PetHub’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective as of July 1.
Tom Arnold founded PetHub in 2010 serving as the company’s CEO & CTO. This move by the company allows him to focus primarily on his Chief Technology Officer duties.
“At PetHub we believe in taking the time to ensure we have everyone in the ‘right seat,’” said Arnold. “My passion and core strengths are in technology, and my goal is to always take our company to the next level of tech. Having juggled the two roles of CEO and CTO for so many years, it is a relief to have someone so capable of taking over the critical role of chief executive.”
“I am honored to be chosen as PetHub’s new CEO. It has been a privilege to be a part of this company and see how far we have come,” said Clemens. “We’ve built an industry-leading platform for digital pet identification as our first application. I’m excited to lead our incredible team into the next phase of PetHub’s growth to fully realize the PetHub vision of becoming a central platform that puts pets at the center of all aspects of their life.”
Clemens led the company’s pivot in 2016 that helped to bring PetHub digital pet license and rabies tags into more than 650 communities within the United States and 750,000 pets onto the site. She has also guided PetHub to its wins of multiple pet industry awards for PetHub’s unique digital ID tags and online services.
