Animal Supply Co. and Phillips Pet Food & Supplies, which had announced merger plans in late February, have called off previously announced plans, according to several sources close to the matter.
Animal Supply Co. will receive a cash infusion from existing investors, with plans from Phillips Pet Food & Supplies still unclear.
