PremieRpet Teams Up with Onçafari to Save Brazilian Wildlife
PremieRpet, a pioneer in developing high-quality nutrition and super premium foods for pets in Brazil and the company behind Natoo Pet Foods in the United States, has teamed up with Onçafari to spread awareness towards the Pantanal Recovery Fund. This fund aims to raise money and resources to combat the damage caused by the ongoing Pantanal wildfires that have burned more than 2.5 million acres of land since May of this year; the most recent fire occurred only a few weeks ago.
Onçafari is a biodiversity conservation association with a mission to protect local Brazilian wildlife and their natural habitats. PremieRpet has been an avid supporter of Onçafari in the past and continues to be so with their recent partnership to spread word about the devastating Pantanal wildfires in Brazil. Within this collaboration, PremieRpet has donated $45,000 to Onçafari’s Pantanal Recovery Fund and recently debuted new, limited-edition packaging on their PremieR Nattu dry food line to promote their partnership.
“As a company that holds biodiversity conservation so close to our hearts, we’re devastated about the wildfires sweeping through Brazil’s Pantanal,” said Fernando Maluf, VP of International Sales. “Every contribution makes a difference which is why we’ve donated $150k to Onçafari, a NGO that helps preserve the Pantanal, and $150K to the Jaguar Parade, a NGO that spreads awareness about the protection of rainforests, wetlands and other ecosystems in Brazil through art and culture. We’ll continue to support the efforts of these organizations by debuting limited edition packaging on our PremieR Nattu line and raising donations for the Pantanal Recovery Fund.”
The limited-edition packaging of the PremieR Nattu line is now available, offering a variety of premium dry food options for both dogs and cats. With the purchase of any product from this line, a portion of the proceeds will go towards the preservation of the Pantanal, helping to recover areas that have been impacted by the wildfires and care for the animals that call the Pantanal their home.
