Pura Naturals Pet launches New Collegiate Veterinary Program

On Jan. 15, 2018, Pura Naturals Pet announced the launch of a new Collegiate Veterinary Program targeted at future veterinarians.

The new program will aid collegiate veterinary programs in the US, providing donations of all-natural health and wellness solutions for companion animals they treat and train students and clinicians on how to administer them. By targeting future veterinarians, Pura Naturals Pet hopes these students will be educated on added options for organic and holistic healing for the patients and communities they support.

As part of the program, Pura Naturals Pet donated products to the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in Massachusetts for use in the school’s low-cost community veterinary clinic, as well as for their related outreach efforts and events for underserved local communities and pets.

Beth Sommers, President of Pura Naturals Pet said, “We’re proud to be a part of the growing awareness of organic pet wellness in the veterinary community. Seeing their passion for animals and the good they are doing in their communities is inspiring. We look forward to supporting Tufts University and other future Collegiate Veterinarian’s with their work in clinical care.”
