TeleVet to Provide 60 Days Free Use for Hill’s Pet Nutrition Customers
TeleVet, creators of the mobile telemedicine application virtually connecting veterinary clinics to pet owners, has announced a partnership with Hill’s Pet Nutrition, a global pet food company whose goal is to support every pet possible in conjunction with veterinarians and animal welfare partners.
TeleVet will provide Hill’s veterinary customers with 60 days of free use of its telemedicine platform, enabling the national community of vets to better serve patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Vets are facing a time of unprecedented need for telemedicine,” said Steven Carter, co-founder and CEO of TeleVet. “Our partnership with Hill’s provides clinics with the means to provide excellent care while maintaining revenue during uncertain times. As conditions continue to evolve, we are proud to partner with Hill’s in 2020 and beyond.”
TeleVet is designed exclusively for veterinarians to help them continue to meet with pet owners safely. Easily integrated with instant messaging, phone and video, TeleVet is a one-stop platform virtual clinic that enables vets to consult with patients and monitor status without violating distancing norms. Vets can operate a traditional clinic from anywhere, facilitate prescriptions, create and update electronic health records, collect payment and more.
“Hill’s and TeleVet are committed to helping as many pets as possible get to see their veterinarians through new capabilities,” said Chief Professional Veterinary Affairs, Jolle Kirpensteijn, DVM. “Our company was started by a veterinarian, and we continue to be committed to supporting the profession and the pets that they serve in their clinic or virtually.”
