Tractor Supply Honors America’s Military Service Members, Veterans and first Responders with $1 Million Donation
Tractor Supply Company, the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States and the Tractor Supply Company Foundation announced today they will donate a total of $1 million to charity organizations committed to supporting our nation’s military service members, veterans and first responders. The donation coincides with the launch of Hometown Heroes, a special program with wide-ranging benefits and recognition for the heroes who bravely serve our country and communities. Tractor Supply and Petsense by Tractor Supply have long supported Hometown Heroes through donations, semiannual discounts, designated parking spots at stores, volunteer activities and through the company’s veterans group for Team Members. Hometown Heroes brings together the company’s efforts to support the selfless men and women who serve America under one banner.
In celebration of its Hometown Heroes program, Tractor Supply has donated $1 million across 10 charities supporting our nation’s military service members, veterans and first responders.
In addition, the company is introducing a Hometown Heroes spotlight series to celebrate customers and Team Members who embody the spirit of being Hometown Heroes.
“Tractor Supply’s commitment to supporting and honoring those who have served our country through military service, as well as first responders, runs deep,” said Mary Winn Pilkington, President of the Tractor Supply Company Foundation. “We are fortunate to count many of these heroes as our customers and Team Members. We salute these charities for the important work they do. We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with them to give back to these heroes who have sacrificed so much.”
