Veterinary Formula Shows Support for Clear the Shelters Month
Veterinary Formula recently partnered with Abandoned Pet Rescue, a no-kill shelter in Fort Lauderdale, to support Clear the Shelters Month and celebrate National Dog Day.
Clear the Shelters Month, which ran from Aug. 10 – Sept. 10, is a nationwide pet adoption and donation campaign hosted by NBC Universal Local’s NBC 6 & Telemundo, aiming to find loving homes for animals in need.
Members from Veterinary Formula dedicated a day of service to make a difference in the lives of pets waiting for their forever homes. Its team rolled up their sleeves and spent the day bathing dogs, playing with cats, cleaning their ears and providing much-needed care. In addition to its time and effort, Veterinary Formula donated gallons of shampoo, Dental Fresh Water Additive supplements, Ear Therapy Wipes and more to the shelter, ensuring that the animals continue to receive the best care possible.
“Our focus is on more than just creating exceptional products; it’s about giving back to the community and making a real impact in the lives of animals,” said Brent Stern, Chief Commercial Officer of SynergyLabs, parent company of Veterinary Formula. “Partnering with Abandoned Pet Rescue for such a meaningful cause was a rewarding experience for our team, and we’re proud to contribute to the incredible work they do.”
To share the joy and impact of the day, Veterinary Formula posted a video recap on its social media channels, capturing the smiles, wagging tails and purring cats that made the day unforgettable.
As a result of the campaign, Abandoned Pet Rescue saw 16 cats and 18 dogs find their forever homes. According to Kara Starzyk, Shelter Manager, the organization was thrilled with the collective efforts. “We are thankful for everyone who supported our adoption and fundraising efforts, including the Veterinary Formula team, who volunteered at our shelter to enrich the lives of 200 shelter pets. Two of the dogs they bathed and helped promote were adopted shortly after! APR pets are benefiting from the gentle products the company donated, and we are excited to continue our partnership to help more pets.”
