West Paw VP Sales and Marketing, Andy Wunsch

Andy Wunsch joined West Paw in May with more than 30 years of experience in the olutdoor industry, including 15 years with REI where he held positions in retail management, online commerce development and merchandising.

Wunsch moved to Bozeman, Montana, in 2002 to become the Director of Sales for Simms Fishing Products. During his decade-long tenure, Simms expanded distribution, grew internationally, and became one of the leading brands in the fly-fishing industry.

Moving on to W.L. Gore’s hunting brand Sitka Gear, Wunsch was the Sales Leader and was promoted to the Business Execution Leader. In his seven years with Sitka, Wunsch grew top-line sales, distribution, the sales team and operational efficiency.

For the past 18 months, he was President of Duckworth, creating American-made products using Montana-grown wool. Wunsch received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Economics from San Diego State University.

At West Paw, Wunsch will be responsible for the leadership of all revenue teams, including sales, marketing and customer experience, furthering business success, while upholding and embodying the company values, vision and purpose. Wunsch will lead, inspire and develop direct reports, as well as play a vital role in West Paw’s Executive Team and reports to the CEO, Spencer Williams.

During his career, Wunsch has held leadership roles in retail, management, finance, operations, supply chain management, direct-to-consumer sales, wholesale sales, international distribution and Leadership Team development. Wunsch enjoys just about every outdoor opportunity available in Montana and loves being outside with his family and running with his 9-year-old English Shepard “Vallie.”
