A leading manufacturer and distributor of pet technology, Whistle, recently launched new and improved Whistle Go and Whistle Go Explore, GPS pet trackers.
Both devices are comprehensive wearable pet trackers with GPS location and mobile updates features, fitness and health monitoring all in one device. Allowing owners to pinpoint their pet’s exact location with real-time tracking, the devices also monitor behaviors that could potentially be early signs of health issues regarding eating habits and daily activity levels.
According to media reports, the Explore model is meant for more active dogs that travel long distances with their owner. The device is slightly thicker and heavier, shock-resistant and is waterproof up to 2 meters of water submersion for 30 minutes and has a battery life of 20 days. Whistle Go is shock-resistant and allows for 1 meter of water submersion for 30 minutes with a battery life of 10 days.
Both devices can be attached directly to the pet’s collar and are customizable in the Whistle app. Using a Wi-Fi connection or data plan, owners can establish their pet’s ‘Safe Place’ locations via the mobile-app. Owners can create as many Safe Locations as they would like. If pets wander off the path or escape out a side door, owners can receive real-time tracking to get location updates every 15 seconds.
Whistle Go and Whistle Go Explore trackers can monitor running, walking, playing, resting, sleeping, eating, drinking, scratching and licking activity. In addition to these features, owners can use one account to monitor multiple pets at a time and can connect with other family and friends.
