ZIWI Peak Rabbit & Lamb Cat 6.5 oz Cans Available in North America Again

ZIWI has announced the re-introduction of ZIWI Peak New Zealand Rabbit & Lamb cat food recipe in 6.5 oz cans. 

Mary Helen Horn, executive director and president of ZIWI USA said, “Our Rabbit & Lamb wet recipe has always been well received by pet guardians and our retail partners, however for the past couple of years, wild New Zealand rabbit has been limited in availability. Not willing to compromise ingredient sourcing, we’ve had to limit the availability of this recipe to 3 oz cans. Now that we have a steady supply of rabbit, it’s given us the opportunity to reintroduce this popular recipe in the 6.5 oz can.”

ZIWI Peak’s Rabbit & Lamb whole prey recipe for cats features 92 percent ethically sourced wild rabbit with free-range and grass-fed lamb, organs and bone. As an added nutritional boost, similar to most ZIWI Peak foods, these recipes feature a unique blend of superfoods: green cold-washed lamb tripe and New Zealand green mussels. Loaded with nutrients, green tripe is best known for supporting digestive health and is exceedingly high in palatability. 

According to officials, New Zealand green mussels are a natural source of glucosamine and chondroitin to promote joint health and omega-3 for healthy skin and coat.
