Snif-Snax Launches Limited Ingredient Treats

nif-Snax, a manufacturer of Scottish salmon-based treats for pets, introduces three brand new products for dogs: Scottish Salmon Jerky, Baked Salmon Skins and Tuna Bites. All of these value-added, chef-inspired treats are making their debut at this year’s SuperZoo, much to the delight of seafood-loving canines everywhere.

The Snif-Snax Scottish Salmon Jerky and Baked Salmon Skins both consist of a single, premium ingredient: antibiotic-free Atlantic salmon from Scotland, a source of vital protein. These USA-made treats are rich in DHA and EPA Omega-3 fatty acids and contain no corn, wheat, soy or GMO.

Another new addition to Snif-Snax’s line is their latest seafood protein treat, Tuna Bites. Line-caught in Indonesia and hand crafted in the US, these morsels are 97 percent tuna along with simple rosemary extract. A good source of essential vitamins and minerals for dogs, including selenium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorous and B vitamins, the Tuna Bites also contain extremely low levels of mercury, thanks to a careful fish selection process.

“We at Snif-Snax live by the idea that one should treat pets like family, and that truly dictates how we source and craft both our classic recipes and these exciting new options,” commented Snif-Snax founder and CEO, Jonathan Brown. “The way that we are able to combine our passion for quality salmon with a love for animals is a major source of pride for us, and we believe that will really resonate with the US market.”

As the first pet food product to achieve the four-star Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) benchmark, Snif-Snax has received recognition for utilizing only fully sustainable practices when sourcing salmon. The treats are then made by hand in small batches at its new US facility using the same age-old techniques used to create seafood for people all over the world, resulting in top-notch, guilt-free treats or training rewards.
