Vetdiet® is part of the Legault family business that established its roots in 1919. Now, more than 100 years later, the Legault family celebrates the 4th generation of a family owned and operated business. We have grown the pet retail segment, Mondou, from one outlet in 1938 to 80 locations today throughout Quebec. The Legault family had a vision to develop their own brand of pet food and launched our super premium natural brand Vetdiet® in 1993. Our group of experts, comprised of veterinarians, doctors of animal nutrition and formulators, are dedicated to finding the most beneficial and healthy ingredients for the pet’s well-being. We go above and beyond industry standards to ensure our food is of the highest quality and meets the most stringent safety standards. The family is the proud owner of Mondou and Ren’s Pets stores in Canada where Vetdiet is sold across the country. We also own a brand new state-of-the-art pet food manufacturing facility, named Jupiter, and a wet food facily named Food4Pets.
