As with the rest of our dog treats, these cakes are shelf-stable for up to one year. With a dense, chewy texture similar to a biscotti/day-old brownie combo, our standard-size, pink birthday cakes are made with a peanut butter apple recipe and can be cut to serve four medium-large dogs. There is also a candle in the box, so your four-legged friend can make a wish! Bubba Rose Biscuit Co. pink birthday cake for dogs cannot be personalized and is best cut using a serrated knife.
Please note: The edges of the cake are much darker than the inside. This is completely normal. The molasses and honey in the recipe caramelize to a very dark outside color. That is just the way they look. They are not burnt.
